Sausage and cheddar corn muffins

You can also substitute bacon. Great as a cool morning treat!



3 cups flour

1 cup cornmeal

2 tsp baking powder

2 tsp baking soda

2 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

2 cups milk

2 tbsp lemon juice

4 tbsp butter, melted

2 eggs

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 roll of sauage, browned and drained



Mix together all ingredients. Spray muffin pan/stone liberally. Fill cups 3/4 full. Bake on 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until muffins are golden browned.
