Cherry coffee cake

1 cup butter, melted
1 3/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix together all ingredients down to the pie filling. Dough will be thick. Fold pie filling into dough. Scoop into 9x9 inch baking stone. Bake 45 minutes to an hour, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
